During Chery's recent launch, they introduced a 10-year or 1,000,000 km engine warranty for the first 3,000 customers of either the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro or the Chery Omoda 5. This extended warranty is in addition to the standard warranty package, which includes a 7-year unlimited mileage warranty and a 5-year free maintenance package (limited to free labor, not parts).
If you're not among the first 3,000 customers but still want the 10-year or 1,000,000 km warranty, you have the option to purchase the extended warranty for RM 2,000. Essentially, the first 3,000 customers are receiving the extended warranty at no additional cost.
